化学工学研究室とは？
当研究室では、世の中の環境問題を解決するための技術の創出を提案するための基盤研究や応用研究を行っています。特に、環境溶媒である水と二酸化炭素を利用した技術を利用して、未利用資源（バイオマス）、食品加工残渣、廃プラスチックからの有用物質や機能性物質への回収や、水質汚染原因物質などを無害化するプロセスの開発を推進しています。研究に際しては、多くの大学研究者や民間企業との共同研究を行っているので、学生が企業の方と直接やりとりしながら研究を進める環境になっています。
Chemical engineering laboratory (ChE laboratory) conducts both fundamental researches and applied ones to propose new technologies to solve environmental problems in the world. In particular, using water and carbon dioxide, which are environmental solvents, we are trying to develop methos that useful and functional substances can be obtained from unused resources (biomass), food processing residues, and waste plastics, as well as methods that water pollutants can be converted to detoxified species. Our ChE laboratory carried out joint researches with researchers of universities and companies, so it becomes an environment in which students can easily communicate with them directly.
